What's New with Us.

Hello All,

Just wanted to drop a short note to our blog and let everyone know how things are going with us. It seems like we have been able to spend a lot more time with Big Mike and his new bride Joy. I really can't wait for everyone to meet Joy, she is such a wonderful person, and is really a great addition to the family. It is so much fun getting together with Big Mike and Joy, and my Dad and Stepmom, they get along so well and have so much fun. It makes family gathering pretty easy.

The girls are getting way too big, too fast. Bella and Ari are like little sponges, they are learning so much, and copying everything Mikey and I do. Bella is learning to write her alphabet, and numbers, I love when she comes home with her school work from Daycare, it goes right up on the fridge. Ari learned how to count to ten, I am not too sure where she learned it, but I am thinking daycare, lol. She all of a sudden just started counting one day, pretty funny. Ari is learning so much just from her big sister, it is amazing what she picks up. They get along so well, for the most part at least, lol.

As for Mikey and I, nothing too new with us, just work as always. We just had our 2nd Anniversary, I still can't believe we have been married for 2 years. We also are in the middle of the Step-parent adoption process, yay!!! It has definitely been an experience, but we have had so many wonderful people that have given us legal help and advise pro bono, we feel very blessed on how easy it has been so far. It must have been meant to be. We are in the background investigation phase of everything, once the report gets sent back to the court we can set the court date and Isabella will be an official Loeffler!!! Mikey and I have also planned our first big trip together, we are going to Cancun for a week in April. We are staying at my Dad's time share and are SO EXCITED!!! 2009 has definitely started off very well for us as a family and I can only hope the rest gets even better. Hope everyone is well and we will talk to you all soon!!!
